Event Description
Award-winning poet and teacher Fred Marchant speaks on Archibald MacLeish's important 1961 book, Poetry and Experience, a set of reflections on the nature of poetry and based on MacLeish's lectures while teaching at Harvard. Marchant will also read from his own work and trace the influence of Poetry and Experience within it.
